Role Summary
This is a full-time remote position for a Content Director who will own the overall content direction and strategy for Upgrade Minds. The role is responsible for shaping, organizing, and improving educational as well as marketing content across several channels, making sure it stays aligned with the brand, company objectives, and learner expectations. The position involves steering the content roadmap, supporting writers and editors, partnering with product, marketing, and subject matter experts, and upholding strong standards for quality, usefulness, and accessibility.
What You Will Do
- Set and maintain the content strategy, including audience focus, content objectives, and multi-channel execution.
- Lead the planning and delivery of educational and marketing content initiatives.
- Oversee content calendars, workflows, and library organization to keep production running smoothly.
- Guide content creators and editors to ensure consistency, clarity, and strong editorial standards.
- Work closely with product, marketing, and subject matter experts to connect learning content with broader business priorities.
- Review content results, spot performance trends, and identify areas where new content or improvements are needed.
- Use analytics and learner input to fine-tune content decisions and enhance effectiveness.
- Build scalable content processes that support growth, consistent messaging, and compelling storytelling.
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience in content strategy and content marketing, including audience definition and campaign planning.
- Strong writing and content creation ability with a focus on clear, engaging, learner-centered material.
- Experience managing content operations such as editorial planning, workflows, and content repositories.
- Ability to coordinate cross-functional projects that link learning content with branding and marketing efforts.
- Proven leadership experience overseeing or mentoring content teams, writers, or contributors.
- Comfortable using data and analytics to measure content impact and guide improvements.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills in a remote, distributed work setting.
- Experience in online education, e-learning, instructional design, or similar areas is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Education, or a related field, or equivalent real-world experience.
