Job description
Role overview
Cascades is looking for a Container Recycling Sorter to join its Victoria team. This is a hands-on role in a workplace that places strong emphasis on health and safety while helping turn recycled materials into usable products.

Key duties
The sorter will spend most of the day on the production floor handling recycled containers and supporting the team’s daily operations.
- Sort, grade, and place recycled materials in the correct locations according to department needs and production standards.
- Carry out additional tasks assigned by the Department Lead Hand, including housekeeping, equipment and yard cleanup, Schaeffer washing, snow removal, and helping truck drivers.
- Handle occasional outdoor grounds maintenance, including light gardening roughly once a month.
- Provide flexible support wherever needed to keep operations running smoothly.
