Yes Insurance is hiring a full-time Customer Care Agent to join its on-site contact centre in Dublin 2, City Centre. This is a Monday-to-Friday position focused on delivering friendly, efficient support to customers across a range of insurance products. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers seeking help with quotes, policy questions, renewals, claims support, and other service requests. Key duties
- Respond to customer queries by phone, email, and webchat.
- Explain insurance products and policy coverage in a clear, customer-friendly way.
- Support customers with quotations, renewals, policy amendments, cancellations, and general account questions.
- Assist with claims-related enquiries and guide customers on the next steps.
- Provide calm, empathetic, and professional service while resolving issues.
- Escalate more complex matters when required to achieve the best outcome for the customer.
- Build product knowledge so you can answer questions confidently and accurately.
- Stay informed about new product launches, promotions, and policy updates.
- Help test new products and customer journeys before release.
- Suggest improvements to systems and customer processes where appropriate.
- Record customer interactions accurately in internal systems and keep records up to date.
- Complete follow-up actions within agreed timeframes.
- Work closely with teammates and contribute positively to team performance and culture.
Training and development
Successful hires will receive full training and ongoing support. After probation, employees are expected to begin working toward relevant professional insurance qualifications, such as Insurance Institute exams, with support from the business. The company also offers progression into specialist, operational, compliance, claims, product, or leadership pathways.
Regulatory and conduct requirements
Compare Now Limited trading as Yes Insurance is regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland. Employees in this role must comply with all applicable regulatory obligations. The position is a Controlled Function (CF) role under the Central Bank of Ireland Fitness and Probity Standards, which requires honesty, integrity, and financial soundness. The role is also subject to the Minimum Competency Regulations 2017, including the need to obtain a recognised qualification and complete appropriate training. In addition, the role requires adherence to the Common Conduct Standards under the Individual Accountability Framework 2023.
