Role overview
Dolphin Markets is hiring a Compliance Officer in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This position is for someone who can help the business stay aligned with applicable regulations, strengthen internal controls, and support day-to-day compliance operations in a financial services environment.
Key responsibilities
- Spot compliance-related risks and recommend suitable policies, procedures, systems, and controls to reduce exposure.
- Keep clear records describing the compliance function, including its structure, duties, and operating processes.
- Track any compliance failures, ensure they are escalated properly, and follow through on corrective action.
- Brief senior leadership on regulatory changes and explain how those updates affect the business.
- Help prepare the firm for compliance and risk review visits.
- Review advertising and marketing content to make sure it follows regulatory standards.
- Handle registration and withdrawal paperwork for individuals associated with the firm.
- Make sure staff receive the training they need on mandatory compliance do’s and don’ts.
- Coordinate with the regulator and submit required regulatory filings and ad hoc notifications within deadlines.
- Maintain regulatory records, files, and official registers for the firm.
- Where relevant, assist and provide guidance to the group Compliance Officer.
Requirements
- You should have 3 to 5 years of compliance experience in Forex, CFDs, Financial Services, Banking, or FinTech.
- A CMA License - Category 5 is required.
- Solid knowledge of AML/CFT, KYC, and wider regulatory compliance obligations is expected.
- Prior experience working with financial regulators and preparing regulatory reports is important.
- You must bring strong analytical, communication, and organizational abilities.
- Professional qualifications in Compliance, AML, Risk Management, or similar areas will be considered a plus.
- Experience in a brokerage or trading setting is strongly preferred.
