About the Role
Abdullah Al Othaim Investment Co. is seeking a driven Compensation Benefits Specialist to join its Total Rewards function in Riyadh. In this position, you will help design, roll out, and manage pay and benefits programs that support fairness inside the organization, remain competitive in the market, and follow company rules.
The role contributes to salary planning, job evaluation, market comparisons, employee benefits administration, and broader Total Rewards initiatives that back the company’s expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the rollout and day-to-day management of compensation and benefits programs.
- Take part in annual salary reviews, merit cycles, promotions, and pay revisions.
- Carry out job evaluation and grading work using approved methods.
- Analyze market pay data and benchmark salaries to keep compensation practices competitive.
- Prepare compensation reports, dashboards, and analytical summaries for leadership.
- Administer employee benefits such as medical coverage, allowances, leave entitlements, and other staff benefits.
- Make sure all processes align with company policy and relevant labor laws.
- Keep compensation frameworks, salary records, and HR system information accurate and updated.
- Support the creation and revision of Total Rewards policies and procedures.
- Contribute to restructuring initiatives, job architecture work, and compensation-related workforce projects.
- Handle questions from employees and managers about pay and benefits.
- Work closely with HR, Payroll, Finance, and business teams to deliver Total Rewards services efficiently.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related area.
- At least 2 years of experience in Compensation & Benefits, Total Rewards, Payroll, or a similar HR field.
- Solid understanding of compensation structures, salary administration, and employee benefits.
- Experience with job evaluation and salary benchmarking is preferred.
- Strong analytical ability and numerical accuracy.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience using HRIS platforms, with SAP SuccessFactors considered an advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong integrity and the ability to handle confidential information.
- Professional certification in Compensation & Benefits or Total Rewards such as GRP, CCP, or CIPD is an advantage.
- Experience in a large corporate or multi-business environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of Saudi Labor Law and local compensation practices is beneficial.
- Key strengths include analytical thinking, attention to detail, data analysis, problem solving, communication, teamwork, planning and organizing, customer focus, confidentiality, and continuous improvement.
