Job description

About Revolut

Revolut was founded in 2015 with a simple goal: to give people greater control, visibility, and flexibility over their money. Its platform brings together spending, saving, investing, exchanging, travelling, and other financial tools, serving more than 75 million customers worldwide.

As the company scales quickly, two foundations remain central to its success: its people and its culture. Revolut has earned Great Place to Work™ certification in recognition of its employee experience, and its global team now exceeds 13,000 people working both remotely and from offices. The company is looking for ambitious people who enjoy building strong products, challenging the status quo, and simplifying complexity.

About the role

The Legal team works across the business to turn complex issues into practical guidance, helping teams move quickly while staying protected. The function supports activities such as credit programme structuring and launching into new markets, ensuring the company grows in a compliant and sustainable way.

Revolut is hiring a Company Secretary to contribute to decisions on high-priority matters and provide expert corporate governance support that strengthens global growth.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver independent, specialist governance support to management and supervisory bodies, including their committees.
  • Set meeting agendas, distribute board materials, attend meetings, prepare minutes, and monitor follow-up actions.
  • Work closely with executives to maintain strong local governance standards and align processes across the wider group.
  • Coordinate the signing and execution of corporate paperwork, including shareholder resolutions, KYC documents, extracts, forms, and applications.
  • Support the Legal team in ensuring that local management, supervisory bodies, and committees comply with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Keep statutory registers and legal files current and ensure filings are completed with the relevant company registries.
  • Lead governance improvements and cross-functional projects with a high level of impact.
  • Act as a representative of Revolut with external parties such as legal registries, notaries, and public authorities.
  • Handle shareholder communications, ensure shares are paid, and maintain company records including director and shareholder lists as well as annual accounts.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in law or a recognised company secretarial qualification such as ICSA/CGI.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience, ideally with recent exposure to financial services or technology.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate governance, company law, and conflict-of-interest management.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to run board and committee processes effectively and produce clear minutes.
  • Experience managing legal entity compliance work with limited supervision.
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to build trusted relationships at senior levels.
  • A client-focused mindset, resilience, and the ability to prioritise competing demands.
  • Clear, proactive communication skills with stakeholders and the ability to give concise governance advice.
  • Fluency in English.
