Job description

Role overview

2GoCup is seeking a Community Success Manager to support and expand its reusable cup network across Ireland and the UK. The company operates a deposit-and-return system for cafés, canteens, universities, hospitals, tourist attractions and workplaces, and already serves more than 800 locations through a mix of independent cafés, universities, hospitals and major catering partners.

This is a full-time remote position with regular travel required for on-site visits in Ireland and the UK. It would suit someone with experience in hospitality, catering, food service, account management, customer success or another customer-facing environment.

What the role covers

The position combines account support with business growth. One part of the job involves managing relationships with current venues, making sure they have enough cups, understand how the system is performing, and receive the support they need.

You will also attend sites in person, speak with staff and managers, and bring back practical feedback on what is working well and what could be improved.

The other part of the role focuses on expanding the network. You will identify cafés, small chains, canteens, co-working spaces and similar venues that may be a strong fit for 2GoCup, then contact them by phone, email and LinkedIn.

This is a practical, high-ownership role in a growing business, working closely with the CEO from day one.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain strong relationships with existing venues and support them day to day
  • Monitor stock levels, cup usage, reorders and any operational issues
  • Help new venues onboard and ensure the first few months go smoothly
  • Visit locations across Ireland and the UK to assess how the system works on site
  • Communicate with café owners, catering managers and front-of-house teams
  • Identify issues early and support timely resolution
  • Research and contact new cafés, canteens and coffee shops
  • Arrange meetings and hand over larger opportunities to the wider team
  • Record notes and activity accurately in the CRM
  • Share customer feedback to help improve the service

Candidate profile

The ideal person is confident speaking with people, highly organised, and genuinely interested in the company’s mission. A traditional sales background is not essential; experience in hospitality or catering may be especially relevant because it provides insight into the pace and pressures of cafés, canteens and food service teams.

You should be comfortable speaking on the phone, building rapport, and juggling multiple conversations without losing track of detail.

Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal skills and a natural, approachable communication style
  • Comfortable making calls and following up with customers
  • Well organised with strong attention to detail
  • Able to build relationships with café owners, managers and staff
  • Willing to travel when site visits are needed
  • Interested in sustainability and reducing single-use packaging
  • Comfortable working remotely
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Practical, collaborative and willing to help wherever required
  • Relevant background in hospitality, cafés, catering, food service or facilities management is useful
  • Experience in account management, customer success, sales, business development or territory management is useful
  • Experience using a CRM such as Pipedrive, HubSpot or a similar tool is useful
  • Exposure to cafés, universities, hospitals, workplaces or catering teams is useful

Additional information

The role is based remotely, but frequent travel to sites in Ireland and the UK forms an important part of the position. The job is hands-on and suits someone who is comfortable taking initiative, working autonomously and contributing in a small, fast-moving team.

No formal salary, stipend, duration, start date, application deadline or vacancy count was provided in the source information.
