Job description
About the Company
Dermalogica is a global professional skincare brand sold in more than 80 countries. The company is known for its entrepreneurial mindset, hands-on work culture, and quick-moving environment that encourages people to perform at a high level and deliver new ideas for both skincare professionals and consumers.
The organization is focused on building on its brand legacy, strong team, and educational leadership to drive profitable growth. It is looking for the right people to help expand the business and contribute to its continued success.
Role Overview
As the Community Partnerships Coordinator, you will help expand and energize Dermalogica PRO’s advocate community while supporting the growth of Earned Media Value (EMV). The position centers on finding new advocates, guiding them through onboarding, keeping active members engaged, reactivating those who have become less active, and coordinating gifting and seeding programs that encourage consistent posting. Through outreach, relationship management, logistics, and trend research, you will help build authentic community engagement and brand awareness across the professional skincare audience.
What You Will Do
- Identify professional skincare providers and creators whose audience and values align with the brand, then build genuine relationships that help drive EMV.
- Bring new advocates into the program by sharing welcome messaging, assets, and clear expectations so they can start contributing quickly.
- Handle both organic and paid advocate partnerships from start to finish, including recruiting paid partners and monitoring deliverables and results against EMV targets.
- Manage the advocate lifecycle by strengthening active relationships and reconnecting with lapsed advocates to maintain steady engagement.
- Oversee gifting and seeding operations, including shipment coordination, delivery tracking, timing distribution around campaigns, and keeping the seeding list accurate and current.
- Keep tiering organized across organic and paid advocates so each group receives the right investment, guidance, and expectations.
- Own day-to-day community campaign rollout by understanding the goals and messaging set by the Senior Manager and translating them into clear briefs and activations for the advocate roster.
- Monitor campaign participation and pace across the community, ensure deliverables are submitted on time, and share performance updates with the Senior Manager, Earned Social.
- Maintain advocate records and tier lists while researching trends, influencer tactics, and competitor activity to improve outreach using tools such as CreatorIQ and Dash Hudson.
- Review community activity and campaign outcomes against EMV goals, using insights to improve discovery, nurturing, and activation efforts.
Key Collaborators
You will work closely with the Senior Manager, Earned Social; Manager, Community; Community Engagement Coordinator; Manager, Social & Content; Consumer Community & Organic Social teams; and the Paid Partnerships team.
Qualifications and Requirements
- 1 to 2 years of experience in community management, social media, or influencer marketing.
- Proven ability to grow and retain online communities; experience with the professional skincare audience is a strong advantage.
- Comfort working on several projects at once in a fast-paced setting with a high level of independence and resilience.
- Strong people skills along with flexibility and adaptability.
- Initiative-driven, proactive, and able to think independently.
- Solid project management ability and strong critical and creative thinking.
- Analytical mindset with a willingness to use data to guide outreach decisions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Team-oriented approach with resourcefulness and problem-solving ability.
- Positive, eager-to-learn attitude and openness to new challenges.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing preferred.
- Proficiency with CreatorIQ, Dash Hudson, and similar social and influencer marketing platforms.
