Role Overview
This is a full-time, on-site position in Cuttack, Odisha. The Community Mobilizer will work directly with students, educational institutes, and local stakeholders to build awareness of HIREKARMA’s services and encourage participation in campus hiring activities. The role focuses on outreach, engagement, and relationship-building at the ground level.
What You Will Do
- Plan and carry out outreach drives, awareness sessions, and workshop-based engagement activities.
- Help students and institutes complete registration and onboarding steps.
- Gather feedback from participants and stakeholders to support service improvements.
- Maintain strong working relationships with campus contacts, community leaders, and partner organizations.
- Work with internal teams to coordinate events, exchange field insights, and ensure a smooth participant experience.
- Represent the organization locally and support its growth in the region.
Qualifications and Expectations
- Strong people skills and experience in community engagement are needed to build trust with students, institutes, and local partners.
- Clear verbal communication and active listening are important for presentations, sessions, and personal interactions.
- Customer service and community handling skills are required to address questions and resolve concerns effectively.
- The candidate should be able to organize and execute events, outreach activities, and campaigns in a structured way.
- Familiarity with digital communication and reporting tools such as email, messaging apps, basic office software, and social media is important.
- Experience in education, placement support, NGOs, or similar community-oriented roles will be considered an advantage.
- A bachelor’s degree in any field or equivalent practical experience in community or field operations is required.
- The role requires flexibility, a proactive mindset, and willingness to travel locally in and around Cuttack as needed.
