Role overview
McLarens is looking to add an experienced Commercial Loss Adjuster to its Auckland team. The role suits someone who can confidently handle a varied commercial insurance claims portfolio, including major and complex losses, while delivering calm, expert support to clients when they need it most.
What you’ll do
- Provide a high standard of service and support to customers throughout the claims process.
- Assess losses through site inspections and/or review of documents such as photos and video evidence.
- Meet with customers and suppliers to carry out detailed investigations.
- Prepare clear written reports and communicate findings effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Run the full insurance claim settlement process from start to finish.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with brokers, insurers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
What we’re looking for
You should already have commercial loss adjusting experience across multiple lines of business, along with the ability to work with brokers, insurers, and suppliers in a confident and professional way. The ideal person is detail-focused, solution-oriented, empathetic, proactive, and eager to keep learning.
Formal recognition through ANZIIF, AICLA, or an equivalent qualification is required. Just as important is the right attitude, along with strong communication skills and the energy to thrive in a fast-moving environment.
