Role overview

This is a chance to begin a global commercial career with ZURU, where you will help expand brands internationally, strengthen relationships with major retailers, and contribute to meaningful business growth. The role is designed for someone who can apply ZURU’s business development approach, combine it with strong category knowledge, and bring an entrepreneurial mindset to improve commercial performance, revenue, and profitability.

You will be part of a fast-moving environment that values initiative, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration. The position requires someone available to start as soon as possible.

Key responsibilities

  • Use ZURU’s business development approach, including its persuasion framework and customer touchpoints, to support global distribution growth.
  • Work alongside Supply, Merchandising, Design, and Factory teams in China, helping connect front-end sales activity with back-end operations and solving issues as they arise.
  • Contribute to the delivery of the global go-to-market plan and broader business management strategy that supports long-term brand and business success.
  • Help execute launches in new customers and markets, while identifying opportunities for further expansion after launch.
  • Continuously look for better ways to improve the business unit and strengthen brand performance.
  • Support customer negotiations for both new and existing accounts, using ZURU’s commercial principles to help shape volumes and profitability.
  • Build strong expertise in assigned brands and categories, create global brand content for sales presentations, and present brand strategy to customers.
  • Partner with account teams to develop e-commerce plans that improve local market results.
  • Support annual planning and forecasting, including building the global P&L from territory-level plans.
  • Coordinate with Supply and Demand teams to help maintain inventory availability, improve in-stocks, and support a strong OTIF score.
  • Act as a link between Central and Global teams for product information and product development timelines.
  • Work closely with teams across Merchandising, Planning, Design, and Finance.
  • Apply commercial and business judgement, strategic thinking, and practical problem-solving in day-to-day work.
  • Influence and motivate cross-functional teams while ensuring stakeholders stay accountable for delivery.
  • Communicate clearly and persuasively with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Bring energy, creativity, determination, resilience, and a strong focus on solutions and continuous improvement.
