Role overview
The Commercial Executive will be based in Dammam and will support the Commercial Manager in handling contractual and commercial matters across teams. This role involves close coordination with multiple departments to address claims and business issues, while maintaining strong relationships with business partners, shippers, consignees, brokers, transporters, and insurance providers.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate work across internal teams and external stakeholders while helping to oversee daily execution.
- Assist with planning, organizing, and implementing commercial strategies.
- Support project handling and apply effective delegation where needed.
- Track employees' daily, weekly, and monthly work plans.
- Ensure instructions are followed on a day-to-day basis.
- Prepare claim-related documentation and statistics, and coordinate with lines, brokers, and transporters under the supervision of the Senior Officer and Assistant Manager.
- Take ownership of assigned duties and work toward agreed goals.
- Follow company policies and internal requirements at all times.
- Monitor claims and complaints, then provide weekly and monthly status updates.
- Handle government relation activities and authority-related follow-ups, and update management daily through social channels.
- Maintain a strong professional presence on social networks and monitor them closely as needed.
Experience and qualifications
Candidates should hold either a bachelor's degree or an associate degree. The role requires at least 1 to 3 years of relevant industry experience.
Required skills and capabilities
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to communicate in English fluently, both spoken and written.
- Mandarin language proficiency.
- Valid driving ability and flexibility to travel or move as required.
- Negotiation skills and the ability to influence outcomes.
- Leadership potential with the ability to suggest initiatives and guide team members.
- High attention to detail and a strong commitment to completing tasks.
- Excellent organization and multitasking abilities.
