Job description
About the Role
FC Bayern München is looking for an energetic, creative teammate to join its Club Media & Content team in Munich as a full-time Commercial Content Creator (m|w|d). The role sits at the intersection of content creation, partner communications, and brand-consistent storytelling for one of the world’s most successful football clubs.
You will help shape high-impact video content for sponsors and partners, working across ideation, production, and postproduction for a wide range of formats and channels. The team focuses on creating compelling media experiences for fans while ensuring that commercial content supports the club’s brand values and partnership goals.
What You’ll Do
- Plan, coordinate, run, and wrap film shoots and production projects for sponsors and partners, including campaign assets, partner showcases, activations, and hospitality-related content, with postproduction included.
- Translate sponsor brand objectives and campaign goals into video formats that fit the platform and stay aligned with FC Bayern’s brand identity.
- Develop creative concepts and storylines with a social-first approach for branded content, working closely with internal stakeholders, partners, and the Partnerships team.
- Use AI-based tools and workflows for creative support, editing assistance, and adapting assets.
- Review video output across social media, app, website, and partner channels to ensure quality and compliance with brand guidelines.
- Coordinate closely with the Digital Activations Manager and Partnership Management to deliver contractual obligations and present partners in the best possible way.
- Contribute to budgets, schedules, and production plans for partner and campaign shoots.
- Help expand and maintain a freelancer network and collaborate with agencies and production companies.
- Support pitches, presentations, and case studies for prospective and existing sponsors and partners.
- Ensure that rights, licenses, and approvals such as music, logos, and personality rights are properly observed and documented in partner productions.
What We’re Looking For
This role requires a completed university degree or equivalent training in social media, content production, film and television, media, or journalism. Relevant professional experience in video and/or film production is expected, ideally in an advertising-focused environment such as an agency or production company.
You should have strong social media knowledge, including a clear understanding of relevant platforms, trends, and audience behavior on channels such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Twitch. Experience in designing and producing commercial video formats—such as campaign films, social ads, sponsorship activations, or brand shoots with talent—is important.
Very good skills in postproduction software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools are required. Interest in and practical experience with AI tools for moving-image production is also desired.
Additional strengths include a solid understanding of brand management, corporate identity, design systems, and sponsorship mechanics, along with experience working within brand guidelines. The club is also looking for a strong storytelling mindset, customer orientation, professionalism, resilience, flexibility, and confidence in handling sponsors, partners, and external stakeholders.
Because the job involves matchdays, campaign periods, and production peaks, flexibility and the willingness to work occasional weekends and travel are important. Excellent written and spoken German and English are also required.
