A to Z Services is an integrated facility management business offering tailored support solutions for commercial, industrial, educational, residential, and healthcare properties throughout Qatar.
Role Summary
The Collections Officer will work full-time from the Doha office and report directly to the Credit Control Manager. The purpose of this role is to recover overdue receivables, maintain disciplined follow-up on past-due accounts, and support prompt payment in accordance with company procedures.
What You Will Do
- Monitor aging reports to identify overdue balances and prioritize follow-up actions.
- Reach out to customers by phone and email to pursue collections and maintain payment momentum.
- Discuss and agree on suitable payment plans when circumstances require it.
- Record all collection interactions and outcomes accurately in the system.
- Work closely with finance and operations teams to address billing issues and settle disputes.
- Support account reconciliation activities and help ensure records remain accurate.
- Prepare periodic collection updates and reports for management review.
Requirements and Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or an equivalent field is required.
- At least 3 years of practical collections experience in Qatar is mandatory, ideally gained in a large organization handling both B2B and B2C recovery.
- Strong familiarity with the local market is important for this role.
- Demonstrated ability to follow up persistently while preserving professional client relationships.
- Good customer service and communication skills are needed to manage client conversations and disputes effectively.
- Working knowledge of finance concepts such as invoices, credit notes, payment terms, and account reconciliation is expected.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, along with exposure to ERP or accounting software, is required.
- The candidate must be available for full-time on-site work in Doha and be able to coordinate across teams under time pressure.
