Role Summary

This full-time, on-site Coach position in Alappuzha involves guiding members through effective and safe workout sessions. The role covers warm-ups, strength and conditioning, flexibility exercises, and cooldowns. You will create and modify training plans, show correct exercise technique, watch form closely to reduce injury risk, and provide feedback based on each member’s goals, ability, and any physical limitations.

Key Responsibilities

In addition to coaching sessions, the role includes helping members understand basic nutrition and recovery habits, keeping the workout area tidy and well-organized, and contributing to member engagement and retention. You will also help maintain a positive gym environment, work with fellow team members, attend meetings or training sessions when required, and follow all health, safety, and facility guidelines.

Qualifications and Requirements

Candidates should have prior experience working as a fitness coach, personal trainer, or group exercise instructor, ideally in a gym or studio environment. A strong understanding of exercise science, strength and conditioning, and safe training practices is important. You should be able to build and adjust workout plans for both individuals and small groups with different fitness levels, communicate clearly, motivate members effectively, and correct form with confidence. Professionalism, dependability, punctuality, and flexibility with working hours are also expected. A fitness-related certification is strongly preferred, and a basic grasp of nutrition, recovery, and injury prevention is useful. The role also calls for a respectful, inclusive approach toward people from all backgrounds and abilities.
