Role overview
This position is for a Clinical Trial Assistant with ICON plc, a global healthcare intelligence and clinical research organization. The role is based in Nordrhein-Westfalen and follows a hybrid working arrangement.
In this role, you will support the planning, coordination, and analysis of clinical trials, help interpret clinical data, and contribute to the development of new treatments and therapies.
What you will do
You will be expected to deliver clinical research support to a high standard while working closely with internal teams and other stakeholders.
- Help coordinate and administer clinical studies while making sure trial activities follow protocol and applicable regulatory rules.
- Keep study documentation well organized, including site files, essential records, and regulatory submission materials.
- Assist in preparing trial documents such as informed consent forms and case report forms.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to keep communication clear and ensure trial activities move forward smoothly.
- Track study milestones and prepare reporting on trial progress and key metrics.
Profile and qualifications
The employer is looking for someone with relevant clinical research exposure and a strong interest in the field.
- A bachelor’s degree in a science or healthcare-related discipline is required.
- Previous experience in clinical research, or a strong desire to build a career in this area, is important.
- You should understand clinical trial workflows, regulations, and industry guidelines.
- Strong organization and communication abilities are essential.
- You need to be comfortable working in a busy, collaborative environment with careful attention to detail.
- Travel may be required, up to about 10% of the time.
