About the company

MD Integrations works with digital health brands to deliver clinical services at scale. The company focuses on specialty care in men’s health, women’s health, dermatology, endocrinology, and weight management, using telehealth to help patients access personalized expert care from home.

Role overview

MD Integrations is seeking a patient-centered, digitally fluent Clinical Support Specialist to support specialty care workflows in a fast-moving telehealth environment. This role combines clinical coordination, patient communication, administrative support, and EHR documentation to help create a smooth virtual care experience.

The position is fully remote, full-time, and typically follows Monday to Friday core hours based on local time, with flexibility during the day. A rotating weekend shift of one weekend each month is part of the schedule.

Applicants must have a quiet, secure workspace and dependable high-speed internet. The company is an equal opportunity employer and does not currently provide US visa sponsorship.

Key responsibilities

  • Coordinate treatment-related communication with patients and pharmacies, and help monitor prescription plans across men’s and women’s health, dermatology, and weight management care.
  • Provide follow-up guidance and education so patients understand medication use, care plans, and prescription adherence.
  • Enter and maintain accurate patient information, interactions, and clinical notes in the electronic health record system in line with internal and regulatory standards.
  • Partner with clinical staff and providers to support a consistent, high-quality virtual care journey across specialty lines.
  • Start, monitor, and follow through on prior authorization requests, communicating with insurers, providers, and patients as needed.
  • Protect patient privacy by following HIPAA requirements, confidentiality practices, and established virtual care procedures.
  • Support day-to-day telehealth operations, escalate urgent concerns to the appropriate nurse or provider, and contribute to team meetings and process improvements.

Requirements

  • Active Medical Assistant certification such as CMA or RMA is required.
  • Hands-on experience handling medication prior authorizations and working with insurance providers is required.
  • At least 2 years of experience in clinical support, care coordination, or a patient-/physician-facing role is required; telehealth experience is preferred.
  • Background in one or more of the following areas is preferred: men’s health, women’s health, dermatology, or weight management.
  • Strong working knowledge of HIPAA, privacy, data security, and virtual care practices is expected.
  • Comfort using EHR systems, communication tools such as Slack or G Suite, task-management platforms like Asana, and ticketing systems.
  • Excellent organization, dependable follow-through, clear communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with limited supervision.
  • Must be able to work from a quiet, secure location with reliable high-speed internet.
  • US visa sponsorship is not available.

Work style

  • Customer-focused with a strong commitment to helping patients and partners succeed.
  • Calm, responsive, and able to handle concerns with appropriate urgency.
  • Proactive in spotting issues early and helping solve them before they grow.
  • Collaborative and comfortable working across teams and functions.
  • Interested in continuous learning and staying current with telehealth and healthcare technology trends.

Compensation and benefits

  • Starting pay is $35.00 per hour, with room for increases over time.
  • Spanish bilingual starting pay is $37.00 per hour.
  • Benefits include 75% employer-subsidized health insurance, dental coverage, vision coverage, paid time off, and a 401(k) plan with company match.
  • Training and professional development opportunities are provided on the job.
  • The team operates fully remotely and collaborates both in real time and asynchronously.
  • The workplace culture is described as supportive, collaborative, and idea-friendly.
