Job description

About Arine

Arine is a rapidly expanding healthcare technology and clinical services company based in San Francisco, dedicated to ensuring individuals receive the safest and most effective treatments tailored to their unique and evolving healthcare needs. Our mission addresses the significant issue of medication-related harm, which costs the US healthcare system over $528 billion annually in waste, avoidable harm, and hospitalizations. We are transforming healthcare by solving these problems through our innovative software platform (SaaS). By integrating advanced data science, machine learning, AI, and deep clinical expertise, we provide a patient-centric approach to medication management and deliver personalized care plans at scale for patients and their care teams.

We focus on improving the health and lives of complex patients who disproportionately impact healthcare costs and have historically been difficult to identify and manage. These patients often face challenges such as complex prescribing issues across multiple medications and providers, chronic disease medication difficulties, and access to care barriers. Supported by leading healthcare investors and collaborating with top healthcare organizations, we offer recommendations and facilitate clinical interventions that result in substantial, measurable health improvements for patients and cost savings for our clients.

Why Arine is a Great Place to Work

  • Outstanding Team and Culture: Our shared mission unites and motivates us, fostering a relentless passion for innovation to lead the medication intelligence market.
  • Making a Proven Difference in Healthcare: We are actively saving patient lives and enabling individuals to achieve better health outcomes, including significant reductions in hospitalizations and healthcare costs.
  • Market Opportunity: Backed by prominent healthcare investors, Arine was founded to address one of the largest problems in healthcare today – non-optimized medication therapies that contribute to 275,000 deaths and $528 billion in annual costs.
  • Dramatic Growth: In just four years, Arine manages over 18 million lives across major health plans. We were recognized on the 2024 Inc. 5000 list at #236 and ranked as the 5th fastest-growing company in the AI category.

The Role

This position offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with a team at the forefront of Arine's client impact. You will engage cross-functionally with both clients and internal teams, contributing to the evolution of our client success function to support Arine's rapid growth. This role is crucial in our mission to save patient lives and improve health outcomes by reducing hospitalizations and costs.

Are You a Good Fit?

Arine is seeking a mid-level Client Success Executive to cultivate and expand relationships with our clients. This role is responsible for building strong connections with Arine clients, ecosystem partners, and other key stakeholders. You will manage all facets of client engagement, including deployment and ongoing support, to ensure clients achieve their goals of improving outcomes and reducing costs. Ideal candidates possess strong strategic thinking, active project management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven capacity to drive client results. As a client-facing leader, you will develop and execute strategies to ensure Arine meets client objectives.

Our guiding principle, "People First," emphasizes doing the right thing and is integral to how we engage clients and transform them into partners. Our team's objective is to achieve 100% referenceable clients.

How We Work:

  • Be the easy button – remove barriers, don't create them.
  • Innovate – transform today's lessons and challenges into tomorrow's solutions.
  • Improve lives – our impact will leave people better off.
  • Collaborate – find innovative ways to share knowledge and success.
  • Exceed expectations – over-delivering is our standard.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing all business aspects of the client lifecycle from implementation through ongoing support.
  • Develop and monitor client-specific and organizational Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to ensure deliverables consistently meet or exceed client expectations, while understanding the internal engagement metrics that drive performance.
  • Cultivate a deep understanding of each client's unique needs and objectives, aligning them with Arine's platform capabilities and identifying opportunities for enhanced feature deployment.
  • Act as the client's advocate, collaborating with Product, Engineering, and Delivery teams to identify and communicate opportunities for new products and features as Arine expands its customer base.
  • Generate and document use cases, case studies, white papers, and other client success narratives to enhance Arine's brand visibility in partnership with the marketing team.
  • Coordinate with various Arine cross-functional teams, contributing to the dynamic creation of our mission and vision, the attainment of strategic goals, and acting as a change agent to support Arine's leadership in medication optimization.

Who You Are and What You Bring:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in account management, client success, consulting, or a similar client-facing leadership role, with a demonstrated history of execution, innovation, and a passion for growth within the healthcare industry. Experience with health plans is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate client needs and translate complex concepts into easily understandable messages.
  • Proven ability to lead a team through the entire project lifecycle, from strategy development to planning, execution, and closure. Strong understanding of strategic path setting and integrated project management processes.
  • An undergraduate degree is required. A Master's degree or equivalent experience is preferred. A background in Healthcare or Pharmacy, in addition to strong business acumen, is highly preferred (e.g., pharmacist, nurse, or related experience).
  • Proficiency in medication therapy management, CMS quality measures, comprehensive medication management, and optimization strategies is highly desirable.
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Familiarity with project management software like JIRA and CRM platforms such as HubSpot is a strong plus.
  • A Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree is considered a significant advantage.
