Role summary
This is an on-the-ground role covering South Dublin through to Gorey. It is suited to someone with experience in payment solutions, or in supplying products and services to hospitality or retail businesses, who wants to move into fintech and SaaS payments with a leading European technology company.

What you will do
- Visit customer sites to promote the company’s services directly in the field.
- Support merchants through verification and activation steps.
- Track portfolio results and look for ways to improve performance.
- Offer face-to-face guidance and ongoing support to existing clients.
- Handle both scheduled tasks and self-driven outreach activities.
- Make sure newly acquired merchants in the assigned portfolio complete registration.
- Help existing merchants stay active and continue using the service.
- Escalate unresolved problems by creating cases for further handling.
- Demonstrate product capabilities and value in a persuasive way.
- Travel to client locations and attend relevant industry events.
What the company is looking for
The ideal candidate brings at least 2 years of business development experience in a demanding environment, ideally within financial services or the retail/hospitality sectors. You should understand financial products and services, be comfortable using CRM tools, and be confident in negotiation. Strong planning and diary management skills, persistence when facing objections, the ability to work with varied customer types, and a computer-savvy, technology-oriented approach are also important. Fluency in English is required.
