Role overview
Charles River Laboratories is hiring a Cleaner for its Tranent site in EH33 2NE, Edinburgh. This on-site role supports cleaning across office, laboratory, and general areas, helping maintain a safe, orderly, and well-presented workplace.
Working pattern
The standard schedule runs Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 15:30. The role requires presence on site. The position is full time at 36.25 hours per week, although part-time working can be discussed. Access to personal transport would be helpful because of the site location.
Key duties
You will be responsible for routine cleaning across the facility, including surfaces, floors, benches, and corridors as needed.
Experience and qualities
Prior cleaning experience is an advantage. The ideal candidate should work well with others, pay close attention to detail, and bring a flexible, hard-working attitude.
Pay and benefits
