Role overview

This position is a full-time, on-site cleaner role in Lekki, Lagos State. The successful candidate will help keep the office neat, safe, and well-organized so the workplace remains welcoming for employees, clients, and visitors.

What you will do

Your work will cover everyday cleaning and upkeep across the office, including desks and work areas, meeting spaces, shared areas, washrooms, and building entry points. Typical duties include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, wiping down surfaces, clearing waste bins, replacing toiletries and cleaning materials, and making sure rubbish is sorted correctly.

You will also be expected to notice and report any maintenance concerns, use basic cleaning tools properly and safely, and follow all health, hygiene, and safety rules in place. The role requires close coordination with the office team to support a polished and professional environment.

Experience and qualifications

Applicants should have prior experience cleaning offices, commercial spaces, or other facilities, along with a solid understanding of standard cleaning methods and routines. Familiarity with cleaning equipment and supplies such as vacuum cleaners, mops, and cleaning agents is important, as is the ability to handle them safely and effectively.

Strong attention to detail, the ability to work through tasks carefully, and a consistent focus on high cleanliness standards are essential. Candidates should also be able to manage time well, work from a cleaning schedule, and decide task priorities independently when needed.

A basic grasp of hygiene, health, and safety practices is required, including the safe use and storage of chemicals. The ideal candidate will be dependable, punctual, able to follow instructions, and comfortable with physical duties such as standing, walking, bending, lifting, and repeating cleaning tasks during the day.

Prior experience in janitorial or hygiene cleaning is also expected.
