Cleaner

Job Location and Type

This position is available in Lagos, Edo, and Abuja. It is a full-time role.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning tasks in assigned areas including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and restroom sanitation.
• Report any equipment or facility issues such as defects or need for repairs to management.
• Work collaboratively with other staff members to maintain cleanliness standards.
• Adhere strictly to health and safety guidelines during all cleaning operations.
• Dispose of trash by emptying bins regularly.
• Wash and dry windows as part of cleaning duties.
• Coordinate with the line manager to ensure availability of cleaning supplies at all times.
• Report any damage or breakages that happen while cleaning activities are carried out.
• Notify management promptly about necessary repair work.

Requirements

• Minimum education level: Senior Secondary Certificate (SSCE) or Ordinary National Diploma (OND).
• Two to three years of experience working as a cleaner.
• Demonstrated ability to operate cleaning equipment and machinery.
• Familiarity with various cleaning chemicals and the correct usage of supplies.
• Possess a strong sense of integrity and responsibility.
• Excellent organizational skills for efficient task completion.
• Capable of completing tasks within set deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Availability to work flexible hours including mornings and evenings as required.
