Role overview
This opportunity is for a Class 2 Driver based in West Sussex, England, United Kingdom. The employer has partnered with a well-established national business that is expanding its waste operations and is seeking an experienced driver to support that growth.
The position is onsite and offered on a contract basis. It follows a Monday to Friday day-shift pattern and the role is expected to continue on a permanent basis.
Compensation starts at a basic salary of £45,000, with expected annual earnings above £50,000.
Key duties
- Drive and operate a range of fleet vehicles, including Class 2 vehicles such as tippers and flatbeds.
- Travel to multiple sites across designated locations and deliver a timely, professional service.
- Carry out daily walk-round checks and keep accurate logs for mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents.
- Perform straightforward maintenance support on HGVs, plant equipment, and related vehicles.
- Handle different vehicle types, HGVs, and machinery as required by the operation.
Working pattern and terms
The role is scheduled for Monday to Friday daytime work.
