Role overview
FMG is looking for a Claims Adviser to join its Christchurch team from early August 2026. This position is centred on providing high-quality service to clients and guiding them through the claims journey while helping achieve fair outcomes for both the client and the business.
The role is largely phone-based, so you will spend your day speaking with clients, taking claims, handling enquiries, and resolving issues with a practical, supportive approach. You will manage a varied claims workload and contribute to a positive customer experience at every step.

Working hours
Work is scheduled between 7:30am and 6:30pm, Monday through Friday. Team members will rotate between an early shift and a 10:00am to 6:30pm shift. Flexibility for later shifts is required, and a rotating Saturday shift from 8:30am to 4:00pm is also part of the roster.
