Role Overview

This opportunity is for a transformative Chief Human Resources and Administration Officer who will act as a trusted strategic partner to a high-performing Chief Executive Officer and the executive team. The role is centered on shaping the organization’s people agenda, strengthening leadership capability, and influencing both employee and customer experience across a fast-moving and complex business.

Reporting to the CEO, this executive will own the full human resources and administration portfolio, including enterprise people strategy, organizational capability, leadership development, succession planning, talent acquisition, employee experience, customer experience philosophy, HR operations, organizational design, change leadership, culture, total rewards, internal and external communications, workforce analytics, and AI-enabled workforce transformation. The position also offers the chance to sharpen leadership effectiveness, improve succession depth, elevate hiring outcomes, support acquisitions, and use AI and analytics to keep culture a true competitive advantage as the company grows.

Primary Duties

  • Work closely with the CEO and executive leadership team to ensure the people strategy directly supports business goals.
  • Build and implement enterprise-wide leadership development and succession planning programs.
  • Direct the talent acquisition strategy, including executive hiring for a multi-site organization in growth mode.
  • Lead HR business partners, talent management, learning and development, and core HR operations.
  • Strengthen engagement, recognition, and retention programs across the workforce.
  • Link employee experience with customer experience through a service culture inspired by hospitality standards.
  • Guide organizational design, workforce planning, and change management tied to expansion and acquisitions.
  • Create people analytics and AI-driven solutions that cut administrative effort and improve decision-making.
  • Oversee total rewards strategy, performance management, and broader organizational effectiveness initiatives.
  • Ensure all HR practices remain compliant with employment laws while staying practical and business-focused.
  • Act as an executive champion for culture programs and leadership capability across the enterprise.

Qualifications and Experience

The employer is looking for a candidate with a bachelor’s degree as the minimum educational requirement; an advanced degree and SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification are preferred. The ideal background includes at least 15 years of progressive experience in HR or people leadership, including prior service as the top HR leader in an organization. Experience leading in a complex multi-site environment is important, and exposure to hospitality, luxury services, consumer services, retail, restaurants, or other service-led industries is preferred. The successful candidate should bring a proven track record in leadership development, succession planning, and organizational effectiveness, along with strong business judgment and direct partnership experience with CEOs and senior leadership teams. Experience supporting acquisitions, growth, and change management is also required. The role calls for a hands-on leader with a low-ego, practical approach.
