About the Role

The Chat Support Specialist position at Grubspot NG is a part-time remote opportunity dedicated to offering prompt and helpful assistance to customers through chat and social media channels. The role involves addressing inquiries about products, pricing, delivery methods, and services; resolving order-related issues; and guiding users throughout the ordering process.

Key Responsibilities

Provide clear, professional responses to customer questions via chat and social media platforms.
Resolve issues related to orders and assist customers in navigating the ordering system.
Record and report recurring customer concerns to the relevant teams for further action.
Escalate complex technical problems appropriately within the organization.
Maintain accurate documentation of all customer interactions.
Monitor chat channels during assigned working hours, ensuring a friendly and professional attitude to promote customer satisfaction.

Required Qualifications and Skills

Excellent customer service and communication skills, with an emphasis on written English proficiency.
Basic technical knowledge to troubleshoot platform, order, or account challenges and escalate when necessary.
Analytical capability to interpret customer feedback, identify trends in issues, and recommend process improvements or updates to FAQs.
Ability to work independently from a remote setup with reliable internet access and manage a part-time schedule efficiently.
Previous experience in online customer service, chat support, or customer-facing roles, preferably in food service, is a plus.
Familiarity with social media channels and basic chat tools; knowledge or interest in Grubspot NG's services and the food industry is advantageous.
