- Help deliver and evaluate existing and new programs, activities, and events on and off military installations, ensuring smooth coordination of materials, assets, and logistics.
- Contribute to program review and service planning by researching needs, recommending improvements, and implementing approved changes.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders, including military, community, partner, donor, and media contacts, to strengthen relationships and support the mission.
- Coordinate resources with center colleagues so programs and events have sufficient volunteers, materials, and supplies, and act as a resource for program-related support.
- Communicate with volunteers about openings, policy updates, development opportunities, and other key updates, and maintain volunteer database reports.
- Guide prospective volunteers through the application process, support volunteer training, organize recognition activities, and submit volunteer nominations when appropriate.
- Be prepared to drive a USO vehicle or personal vehicle if required.
