Role Overview

The Casino VIP Host will serve as the main relationship owner for Betr’s most active players. This position combines high-touch account management with operational thinking and plays a key part in keeping the VIP portfolio healthy, engaging, and profitable. Reporting to the VIP Manager and working closely with the Head of Retention, this person will manage player bonusing, contribute to the VIP lifecycle, and provide input on product and casino updates that improve player loyalty.

While the role is preferred to be based in Miami, applicants from any location are welcome, and the company is focused on identifying the strongest overall fit.

What You Will Do

  • Take ownership of a portfolio of VIP players and build strong relationships through tailored outreach by SMS, phone, and email.
  • Oversee bonus activity for assigned players, balancing engagement rewards with margin protection and healthy reinvestment decisions.
  • Represent the player perspective by sharing feedback with the product team on providers, titles, table limits, slots, and features that can strengthen the VIP experience.
  • Work with the Head of Retention to design and improve the VIP lifecycle, including onboarding, early engagement, and long-term loyalty milestones.
  • Review player activity and use theoretical win versus actual play to guide bonus decisions instead of responding only to player requests.
  • Collect and interpret customer feedback about site usability, interface issues, and competitor offerings, then turn those insights into actionable recommendations for Retention and Product.
  • Watch for drops in activity or changes in behavior and launch proactive reactivation efforts before players churn.
  • Make sure all player interactions, incentives, and decisions follow regulatory requirements and responsible gaming standards.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate brings 1 to 3 years of experience in casino hosting, VIP account management, or luxury relationship-focused roles such as hospitality, sales, or premium concierge work. The role requires strong commercial judgment, comfort handling high-value relationships, and the ability to balance generosity with profitability.

You should have excellent communication skills and emotional intelligence, be confident working with high-net-worth individuals, and stay organized while managing frequent communication across multiple channels and detailed CRM records. A genuine interest in casino games and a clear sense of what creates a premium gaming experience are important, along with a proactive mindset and a habit of identifying improvements without waiting for direction.

Nice to Have

Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce or Zendesk, or with internal back-office tools used to manage player accounts and bonus triggers, is a plus.

Additional advantages include strong familiarity with the current iGaming market, including top-performing slots, live dealer trends, and emerging providers, as well as experience calculating reinvestment rates and understanding the value of a player in bonus spend terms.
