Role Overview
As a Cash Office Responsible, you will manage the store’s cash office and sales-floor administration, making sure processes run smoothly and in line with company expectations. You will also coach and assist store colleagues so they feel confident handling cash, stock, banking, and related administrative tasks.
You will work closely with the store management team and support a positive customer and colleague experience while representing the brand professionally at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Improve store operations by applying strong cash-handling practices, maintaining technical equipment, and following administrative routines, while supporting leaders and colleagues when customer service support is needed.
- Handle reconciliation tasks, cash routines, and opening/closing procedures for the cash desk, investigate variances, and coordinate follow-up with management and loss prevention teams.
- Maintain security procedures according to company standards and assist with audits when needed.
- Work with store leadership to help ensure a smooth experience for both customers and colleagues on the sales floor.
- Train store team members on checkout processes, cash-point routines, and the store procedures linked to your responsibilities, ensuring they are followed consistently.
- Act as a positive representative of both yourself and the brand in every customer interaction.
Who You Will Work With
You will be part of the store team, which may include Sales Advisors, Department Managers, Store Managers, Visual Merchandisers, Assistant Store Managers, Cash Office Responsible colleagues, and Delivery Responsible colleagues in larger stores. You will also interact with the wider area team and coordinate across stores to share ideas and support overall performance.
