Job description
Company Overview
Social Scool is a private platform built specifically for university communities and verified at the campus level. It connects students, alumni, faculty, and employers in one trusted environment for campus communication, peer marketplace activity, event discovery, and career networking. Because every account is tied to an institution, the platform is designed to offer a safer and more reliable experience than public social networks. It is created around campus life and keeps the focus on genuine university relationships without outside noise.
Role Summary
As a full-time Campus Ambassador based on site in Fredericton, New Brunswick, you will serve as the local face of Social Scool at your university. Your main focus will be to increase awareness and adoption of the platform by connecting with students, clubs, and campus organizations, and by supporting or leading in-person events and tabling efforts.
What You Will Do
You will run outreach and awareness efforts across campus, share product updates through presentations and classroom announcements, and speak at club meetings where relevant. You will help distribute promotional material, support campaigns that encourage sign-ups, and collect feedback from users so the team can understand what resonates best on your campus. You will also work with university partners, career centers, and student leaders to strengthen engagement and help grow an active, verified community.
Qualifications
The role calls for strong communication and presentation abilities, along with the confidence to address both individuals and groups. You should be comfortable using marketing and sales techniques to promote the platform and support campus campaigns, and you should be good at building relationships through networking with students, faculty, clubs, and departments. Applicants must currently be enrolled at a university in Fredericton, NB and be familiar with the local campus culture and student experience. The position also suits someone who is self-driven, well organized, and able to work independently in a fast-moving, mission-focused environment. Prior involvement in student leadership, event planning, or campus organizations is considered an advantage.
