About the role
This position sits within the Business Systems Integration function and focuses on removing operational bottlenecks by turning business needs into scalable, dependable system solutions. The role supports Google’s Devices and Services supply chain operations and works across a mixed environment of SAP and non-SAP tools and technologies.
You will work closely with business partners, internal product and engineering teams, and external technology vendors to shape system direction, translate requirements into technical design, and help deliver end-to-end supply chain solutions aligned with business objectives.
The wider Platforms and Devices organization develops the software platforms, first-party devices, and services that combine AI, software, and hardware to improve how users interact with technology across desktop, mobile, and application environments.
Minimum qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent level of practical experience is required.
- At least 5 years of work experience in designing and rolling out supply chain systems.
- At least 5 years of experience creating integrated solutions across the full system lifecycle, including analysis, design, build, testing, deployment, and support.
- Hands-on experience adapting and implementing business processes for APAC markets.
- Exposure to eCommerce ERP systems, PLM, CRM, quality, or logistics environments.
Preferred qualifications
- APICS, CSCP, or CPIM certification is preferred.
- Background in deploying large-scale SAP ERP systems is an advantage.
- Experience with master data management and collaboration with cross-functional engineering teams is valued.
- Understanding of eCommerce order management and fulfillment flows is beneficial.
- Comfort working through ambiguity and change in a fast-moving environment is important.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the supply chain subject matter expert, with emphasis on order management and fulfillment in eCommerce, retail, or wholesale settings.
- Develop, shape, and deliver complex business solutions using both custom-built and third-party platforms in collaboration with internal systems teams and supply chain stakeholders.
- Own and contribute to systems implementation efforts, including requirements gathering, solution configuration, fit-gap analysis, testing, execution support, and issue tracking and resolution.
- Provide support for mission-critical and business-critical systems by applying IT and software engineering practices.
