Job description

About the Role

Join the Service Delivery function and help shape outstanding customer experiences across critical parts of the business, including Catering, Product, Retail, In-Flight Entertainment and Connectivity, Cabin Crew Management, the Cabin Crew Centre of Excellence, and Uniform Standards & Development. This team plays an essential role in supporting global operations and maintaining world-class standards.

This position is suited to someone who is motivated by service excellence, innovation, and efficient operations. You will contribute to the success of a global airline by supporting project governance, planning, and collaboration across teams to deliver improvements that create measurable business value and support the organisation’s mission, vision, and goals.

What You’ll Do

You will help manage the Service Delivery project portfolio by shaping project scope, deliverables, timelines, resources, and risk controls, while ensuring the right governance structure is in place and stakeholders remain aligned. You will also assist with project setup, business case preparation, and tracking of realised benefits.

Your role will involve guiding project teams, subject matter experts, and stakeholders so milestones are delivered on schedule, while monitoring and managing risks, issues, and change requests. Where needed, matters will be escalated to the Business Support Manager.

You will prepare regular progress and status updates to measure performance against deadlines and KPIs, using analytical tools to spot trends and support ongoing service improvement.

In addition, you will support budget forecasting and business case work by analysing business needs and project outcomes, using both historical and forecast data to feed into the three-year business plan and align delivery with departmental priorities.

You will also review current Service Delivery processes to find ways to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and raise service standards. A key part of the role is identifying enhancements in people, processes, and systems, working closely with IT and Service Delivery teams to ensure the tools in use can support future growth and changing operational demands.

Cross-functional coordination is central to the role, and you will work with partner teams to keep delivery aligned, manage dependencies, and handle risks and change requests effectively.

Requirements

To be shortlisted, you should bring the following:

  • A degree or honours qualification (12+3 or equivalent), ideally in Business Management, IT, Computer Science, or a similar field.
  • More than 5 years of project management experience, preferably gained in the aviation sector.
  • Experience in performance improvement or continuous improvement work within the airline industry is strongly preferred.
  • Strong planning and organisational ability, with experience handling complex initiatives across multiple functions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at different levels.
  • Solid proficiency with IT systems and analytical tools, including workforce planning, productivity analysis, and project management software.
  • Professional project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile is an added advantage.
  • Hands-on experience with project management platforms such as MS Project, Smartsheet, and Jira.
  • Strong analytical ability, including the capacity to interpret historical and forecast data for long-term decision support.

Perks and Benefits

Successful candidates will receive a tax-free salary in Dubai, along with travel benefits such as discounted flights and hotel stays worldwide. The role also includes a generous leave package, healthcare coverage, transport benefits, life insurance, and other additional employee benefits.
