Job description
About TM International
TM International is recognized as the world’s largest producer of temporary and semi-permanent tattoos, with over 30 years of leadership in the category. Based in Tucson, Arizona, the company creates temporary tattoos made in the USA as well as plant-based semi-permanent tattoos that comply with or surpass safety requirements in North America and Europe.
The business is undergoing a major shift from a wholesale and retail-led model to a digital-first, e-commerce-centered approach. This is a meaningful transformation that adds complexity and creates an opportunity to help shape how the company operates going forward.
Role Overview
This position is intended to act as a central coordination point for the leadership team. The work blends business operations, program delivery, HR support, executive meeting cadence, internal communications, and supervision of contract recruiters. The role reports closely into the executive team and is well suited to someone who is known for reliably getting things done.
Project and Program Management
- Lead cross-functional initiatives from launch through completion across the executive team’s priority workstreams.
- Set up practical project tracking in Monday.com without creating unnecessary process overhead.
- Monitor commitments, identify risks early, and ensure decisions turn into execution.
HR Partnership
- Support leadership with the people side of the company reset, including onboarding, role design, performance cycles, and handbook-based policy execution.
- Serve as a dependable first point of contact for managers with people-related questions.
- Help ensure consistent and compliant handling of FMLA, leave, benefits, and employee relations matters.
Leadership Operating Cadence
- Manage the company’s operating rhythm, including weekly leadership meetings, monthly business reviews, quarterly planning sessions, and all-hands meetings.
- Create agendas, prepare and circulate pre-reads, document decisions, and drive completion of action items.
- Help protect executive time by ensuring the right issues are discussed with the right participants.
Internal Communications
- Prepare and distribute internal messages on behalf of leadership, such as all-hands presentations, organizational announcements, policy updates, and milestone communications.
- Turn complex strategic changes into clear and practical messages that employees can understand and act on.
- Maintain a consistent communication cadence so teams stay informed and aligned.
Contract Recruiter Coordination
- Coordinate the company’s network of contract recruiters during team expansion.
- Set priorities, manage intake, enforce service-level expectations and quality standards, and report recruiting progress to executives.
- Work with hiring managers on role scoping, interview structure, and offer planning.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate brings a mix of operations, program management, and HR experience, with the ability to work effectively across teams and levels—from executives to hourly employees. Strong organizational instincts, clear writing ability, and comfort working in a fast-changing environment are essential. The role also requires someone who can handle ambiguity, stay composed during change, and maintain high standards with a low-ego, respectful style.
Work Location and Conditions
This is an on-site role at the Phoenix headquarters and the candidate must already be based in Phoenix, Arizona. Relocation support is not offered. Some travel to Tucson will be required.
Work Style and Values
- Customer-first thinking in every decision.
- A strong bias toward action, with an emphasis on speed, learning, and adjustment.
- Full ownership and accountability for outcomes.
- Direct but respectful communication, including raising difficult issues early.
- Cross-functional collaboration without silos or turf protection.
Application Instructions
Interested candidates are asked to send a short note explaining their interest along with a resume to the company’s hiring contact.
