Role overview
This is a 12-month fixed-term Business Operations Coordinator position with the possibility of becoming permanent. The role is based in the Euston area of London, a short walk from Euston Station, and follows a hybrid pattern of 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm. The salary is circa £40,000.
The opportunity sits within a growing global pharmaceutical business. The company is seeking a highly organised, commercially minded person who enjoys adding structure to a busy environment and is keen to build a long-term career in business operations, project coordination, or operational leadership. Pharmaceutical experience is not required, provided you can learn quickly, take ownership, and build strong working relationships across the organisation.
Key responsibilities
- Handle shared inboxes and respond to incoming business queries.
- Assist with supply chain and wider operational tasks.
- Coordinate projects and business initiatives across several teams.
- Review existing processes and help improve operational procedures.
- Track important business measures and spot opportunities to make performance better.
- Support planning, reporting, and day-to-day operational administration.
- Work alongside senior leaders and other key stakeholders.
- Help organise resources, budgets, and operational priorities.
- Identify issues and contribute practical fixes.
- Support compliance, quality, and operational best practice.
