Role overview
The Business Operations Analyst supports daily operational analysis, reporting, and project work for client-facing needs. This role is aligned with WebTPA's clinical team, Communitas, and focuses on improving procedures, coordinating projects, handling administrative work, and assisting with account implementation efforts.
Key responsibilities
You will review operational data and build reporting that helps the clinical team make informed decisions. The role centers on continuous improvement, process upkeep, and support for client demands.
- Prepare analysis and reporting for the clinical team within Communitas.
- Contribute to ongoing improvements that respond to client needs and service expectations.
- Maintain and revise process documentation, procedures, and administrative workflows.
- Support clinical implementation activities when requested by leadership.
- Help with training-related initiatives and related operational tasks.
- Evaluate issues quickly and develop short-term fixes along with longer-term improvement plans using data and feedback.
- Investigate escalations by identifying root causes tied to day-to-day operations.
- Produce reports and data summaries that surface trends and support leadership discussions around processes and impact.
- Help improve growth and operational capability by simplifying processes and systems.
- Join client and leadership meetings or calls when needed and act as a subject matter resource for reading, interpreting, and presenting data.
Requirements
This position calls for at least 4 years of relevant experience and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related discipline, although equivalent related experience may be accepted in place of the degree requirement.
- 4 or more years of related work experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a similar field; comparable experience may substitute.
- Strong reporting capability and substantial hands-on experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, stay organized, and take initiative on active projects.
- Comfort with shifting responsibilities and changing business needs.
- Proactive communication style, including asking questions, requesting clarification, and working through unclear situations.
- Excellent spoken and written communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to collaborate with operational teams, leaders, and decision makers across the organization.
- Capability to work through ambiguity and explain information clearly for others.
- Master’s degree preferred.
