Job description
Role Overview
This role focuses on turning raw business information into practical insights that support both strategic planning and day-to-day decisions. The analyst will build and maintain reporting, analytics, and visualization solutions, then use data from different sources to spot patterns, evaluate performance, and reveal improvement opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
The position involves creating and managing dashboards, reports, scorecards, and other business intelligence tools that help stakeholders track important performance indicators and business outcomes. It also requires partnering with teams across the business to clarify reporting expectations, identify information needs, and deliver insights that improve efficiency, profitability, and overall performance.
Another important part of the job is maintaining strong data quality standards, with an emphasis on accuracy, consistency, and integrity. The analyst will also help improve reporting workflows, analytics practices, and broader business intelligence capabilities over time.
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business Administration, or a similar discipline is required. The ideal candidate should bring strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with a sharp eye for detail.
Hands-on ability in data analysis, dashboard building, reporting tools, and data visualization is important. Experience with SQL, database management, data modeling, business intelligence methods, and performance measurement techniques is considered an advantage.
Applicants should also have strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex data clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Good organization and time management are necessary, especially when handling several priorities and deadlines. Exposure to data warehousing, BI frameworks, forecasting, data governance, process improvement, and decision-support systems will be helpful.
