Role overview

The BI Analyst role is focused on turning complex data into practical business insights that support better decisions. You will work with reporting, analytics, and visualization to help teams track performance, spot patterns, and guide strategic actions.

What you will do

In this position, you will gather data from different sources, organize it effectively, analyze it, and interpret the results to uncover trends and performance indicators. You will build and maintain dashboards, reports, and business intelligence solutions that make it easier for stakeholders to monitor KPIs and act on timely insights.

You will also partner with teams across the business to understand information needs, define reporting expectations, and deliver insights that improve efficiency and overall business results. A key part of the role is maintaining strong data quality, consistency, and integrity while helping improve reporting workflows, governance, and BI capabilities over time.

Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree in one of the following areas is preferred: Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline.

Additional requirements

  • Strong analytical thinking, critical reasoning, and problem-solving skills, along with a sharp eye for detail.
  • Hands-on ability in data analysis, reporting, dashboard creation, and data visualization tools.
  • Working familiarity with SQL, database management, data modelling, BI concepts, and performance measurement methods is an advantage.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to turn complex data into simple insights for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Good planning and time-management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Exposure to data warehousing, BI frameworks, data governance, forecasting, and process improvement is considered a plus.
