Job description
Role Overview
The Business Intelligence Analyst will help CAUM - Cámara Argentina de la Última Milla turn data into practical decisions. In this part-time remote position, you will gather, study, and interpret information to support both strategic planning and day-to-day operations.
What You Will Do
You will build and support BI reports and dashboards, work closely with different stakeholders to understand what information they need, and convert business questions into analytical outputs. The role also calls for working with multiple data sources, keeping data accurate and consistent, documenting data definitions and procedures, spotting patterns and trends, and presenting insights in a way that is easy for management and project teams to act on.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should bring strong analytical ability and practical experience in data analysis, with the capacity to work through complex datasets and extract useful business insight. Familiarity with data warehousing and data modeling is important for building and improving reporting structures. You should also have hands-on experience with ETL workflows, along with solid SQL knowledge and experience using BI/data visualization platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
Clear communication is essential, especially when explaining findings to non-technical audiences and collaborating in a remote setting. The role also requires careful attention to detail, good problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage priorities independently in a part-time environment.
Education and Experience
A bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Business, or a related discipline is preferred, or you may apply with equivalent practical experience. Experience in telecommunications, logistics, or last-mile services will be considered an advantage.
