Role Overview

The Business Executive for the OTC division will be responsible for driving sales growth in the assigned territory, strengthening trade relationships, and ensuring strong product availability across retail channels. The role focuses on primary and secondary sales, distributor handling, outlet engagement, market development, and field-level promotional activity.

Experience

Candidates should have 6 months to 2 years of experience, preferably in OTC, FMCH, or FMCG companies.

Key Responsibilities

Own sales performance for OTC products and work toward monthly as well as annual revenue targets across primary and secondary sales.

Identify, appoint, and manage distributors and stockists to support smooth product movement and wide market reach.

Maintain active relationships with pharmacies, stores, and other important retail outlets to improve product visibility and sell-through.

Handle the assigned territory end to end, including market mapping, inventory coordination, and spotting new growth opportunities.

Track market movements, competitor actions, and promotional efforts to shape sales plans and improve execution.

Prepare periodic sales updates for management, including KPI performance and action points for improvement.

Build and sustain working relationships with distributors, retailers, and healthcare professionals.

Support BTL initiatives such as kiosk-based awareness activities and other promotional campaigns to increase product awareness and sales.

Ensure all sales activities follow company policies, operating procedures, and applicable regulations.

Resolve operational and customer issues, including complaints and product availability concerns, in a timely manner.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Strong selling and negotiation abilities with a proven track record of meeting targets and securing business.

Good communication and people skills to coordinate effectively with multiple stakeholders.

Capability to analyze sales data, recognize patterns, and use insights to guide actions.

Well-developed planning, prioritization, and time management skills for handling multiple responsibilities.

Working knowledge of OTC products, local market dynamics, competitors, and distribution networks.

Ability to collaborate with team members and coordinate with other functions as needed.

Education

Any graduate.
