Role Summary
This full-time, on-site position in Doha, Qatar is suited to a business development professional who can uncover new commercial opportunities and strengthen the sales pipeline within logistics and freight forwarding. The role combines market analysis, client engagement, proposal development, and cross-functional coordination to support revenue growth and long-term customer relationships.
What You'll Do
- Identify fresh business prospects and build a healthy pipeline of leads in the logistics and freight forwarding space.
- Research markets, trade routes, customer segments, and competitor activity to guide sales efforts.
- Prepare client-focused proposals and presentations that address specific operational and commercial needs.
- Reach out to new prospects while also nurturing relationships with existing customers.
- Provide prompt, professional support to clients and help maintain strong service standards.
- Work closely with the operations and pricing teams to develop accurate, competitive solutions.
- Monitor sales performance indicators, contribute to forecasts, and help refine business development practices.
Requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for client interaction, internal coordination, and presentation delivery.
- Experience in lead generation, prospect outreach, pipeline management, and follow-up activities.
- Ability to carry out market research and interpret trends, customer demands, and competitor movements.
- Customer service mindset with the ability to respond quickly and professionally to client needs.
- Prior exposure to logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain services in Qatar.
- Working knowledge of CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or a related area, or equivalent hands-on experience in sales and business development.
- Self-driven approach with the ability to meet targets and work effectively in a multicultural, fast-moving environment.
Additional Information
This is a full-time position based onsite in Doha, Qatar.
Role Expectations
The specialist is expected to support sales forecasting, contribute to continuous improvement of business development processes, and coordinate with internal teams to deliver the right solutions to clients.
