Job description
About Elements
Elements is developing a core platform designed to automate and connect complex finance workflows. The product is already in advanced beta, actively serving early customers, and moving toward a full production release. It is being used in demanding real-world settings.
This is an early-stage opportunity with meaningful traction and relatively low execution risk. The company is funded, already working with multiple customers, and experiencing growing inbound interest as it prepares to scale.
The Opportunity
Elements is looking for a Business Development Specialist to take ownership of customer relationships and support them through onboarding, adoption, and growth. The role provides a high level of strategic influence and close partnership with founders, sales, and product leadership to help customers unlock long-term value from the platform.
What You’ll Do
- Build and manage customer relationships throughout onboarding, adoption, and ongoing engagement.
- Act as a reliable advisor to senior finance stakeholders and operational teams.
- Spot opportunities to expand usage across workflows, teams, and additional business cases.
- Turn customer needs and pain points into practical inputs for product improvement.
- Track account health, address risks early, and help secure renewals.
- Assist with the launch and uptake of new features and product enhancements.
Who We’re Looking For
- Prior experience handling SaaS accounts, preferably in finance, operations, or workflow-focused products.
- Excellent communication skills and the confidence to work with senior executives.
- A consultative thinker who can assess problems and recommend thoughtful solutions.
- A strong ownership mindset suited to startup or rapidly growing environments.
- Comfort working on both long-term strategy and day-to-day execution.
- A track record of improving renewals, retention, and account growth.
Why Join Elements
- Contribute to how customers adopt and scale with a potentially category-defining platform.
- Take on significant ownership and help shape customer strategy and experience.
- Work alongside an experienced team focused on building carefully and with high standards.
- Be part of a culture centered on autonomy, trust, and strong performance.
