As part of Antom’s global merchant payment services, EPOS delivers point-of-sale digital products designed to help merchants improve efficiency and scale their businesses.

Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated Merchant Acquisition Executive to strengthen and grow EPOS’ merchant base across Singapore. This is a field-focused hunting position that involves regular on-site visits to merchant premises. You will approach business owners directly, learn about their day-to-day needs, introduce EPOS offerings, and secure new merchant partnerships. The right candidate should be comfortable selling in person, confident in relationship-building, and able to perform well in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

  • Find, approach, and onboard new merchants through proactive field sales and canvassing efforts.
  • Visit retail stores, F&B outlets, service businesses, and other merchant locations on a regular basis to create sales opportunities.
  • Develop and grow a sales pipeline through cold calls, walk-ins, referrals, networking, and market research.
  • Assess merchant needs and propose the most suitable EPOS products and solutions.
  • Present product demos and explain solutions clearly to prospective merchants.
  • Handle negotiations and work toward closing deals successfully.
  • Manage the full sales process, from lead generation and qualification through onboarding and activation.
  • Work with internal teams to support implementation and ensure smooth merchant onboarding.
  • Keep CRM records accurate, including pipeline status and activity updates.
  • Track market developments, competitor moves, and merchant demand to uncover new business opportunities.
  • Meet and exceed personal targets for sales and merchant acquisition.

Requirements

  • A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related discipline.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in sales, business development, merchant acquisition, or field sales.
  • Fresh graduates with strong communication abilities and a genuine interest in sales are also encouraged to apply.
  • Willingness to work outdoors and make frequent in-person visits to merchant locations.
  • Strong people skills, negotiation ability, and relationship-building capability.
  • Self-driven, resilient, and motivated by targets.
  • Clear verbal communication and confident presentation skills.
  • Able to work on your own while also partnering well with cross-functional teams.
  • Good command of English; other languages are a plus when dealing with diverse merchant groups.
  • Exposure to payment products, POS platforms, fintech, or SaaS solutions will be beneficial.
