Role summary

This position is for someone who enjoys creating strong first impressions with prospects and presenting modern software solutions to potential customers. As a Business Development Representative, you will help open new conversations and support the start of the sales pipeline.

Key activities

  • Reach out to prospective customers and start new conversations.
  • Investigate and collect relevant contact details, then use channels such as social media, webinars, phone, and email to create initial engagement.
  • Assess leads early to confirm whether ecosio’s offering matches the prospect’s needs.
  • Develop interest in prospects until they are ready to be passed to the Account Executive team.
  • Suggest and test new lead-generation approaches together with your team lead and teammates.
  • Maintain accurate records in Salesforce and consistently follow up to strengthen prospect relationships.

Required profile

Applicants should bring 3 to 6 months of outbound SaaS sales experience and be fluent in English at native or C2 level. Knowledge of Dutch, Swedish, or Finnish is considered an advantage. The role suits someone who can persuade effectively, communicate clearly, and build trust quickly. An interest in technical subjects is important.

Preferred background

Experience with EDI or e-invoicing solutions is a plus. Additional strengths include confidence, strong motivation, resilience, a good tolerance for rejection, and the ability to understand IT concepts and technical environments at a high level.
