Job description
About Make
Make is a visual automation platform that helps people and businesses design, build, and automate tasks, workflows, apps, and systems without coding. The company is based in Prague, Czech Republic, and operates with teams across the USA, UK, Germany, France, Canada, India, Chile, and other locations.
Team Environment
You will join a seven-person Business Development Representative team distributed across Madrid and Raleigh, while working from the Munich office. You will also work closely with supporting teams in Munich and collaborate daily across the DACH region. The team is expected to grow to eleven members across two locations, so this role offers the chance to help shape an evolving team structure.
Role Overview
This position is ideal for a driven sales professional who wants to learn quickly and build a career in sales. You will work alongside experienced Account Executives and sales leaders while developing the capabilities needed to move into more senior commercial roles such as Solution Engineering, Account Executive, or Partnerships.
Key Duties
- Research strategic accounts and reach out through cold calling, email, LinkedIn, and other outbound channels.
- Create and qualify new pipeline opportunities and book meetings for Account Executives.
- Develop strong knowledge of automation and integrations so you can clearly explain the value of Make.com to prospects.
- Study target accounts and craft tailored outreach plans for decision-makers.
- Keep an organized pipeline and record engagement activity in CRM tools such as Salesforce and HubSpot.
Candidate Profile
- 0 to 2 years of experience in sales, business development, or a SaaS/technology setting; motivation and curiosity matter more than years of experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Native-level German and fluent English are required.
- Energetic, self-driven, and comfortable in a fast-moving environment.
- Creative problem-solving approach with the ability to engage hard-to-reach decision-makers.
- Good at managing time and priorities across multiple outreach campaigns.
- Highly proactive, ambitious, and eager to contribute in a high-growth company.
Benefits and Rewards
- RSU grant in a rapidly expanding company.
- Annual bonus opportunity.
- Multinational team representing 42 nationalities.
- Learning and development support, including online language learning, professional courses, conference tickets, other training opportunities, and two company learning days each year.
- Notebook or MacBook provided.
- 28 days of vacation.
- 10 care days to support loved ones.
- Extended parental leave of 3 to 6 months.
- RSU grant for a newborn child.
- Regular team-building activities, parties, and company events throughout the year.
- Flexible working hours plus home office options.
Culture and Values
The company emphasizes working together with candor and open feedback, prioritizing customer impact through craftsmanship and outcomes, and embracing change with ownership, speed, and a strong execution mindset.
Inclusion and Hiring Principles
Make values diverse backgrounds, identities, abilities, and experiences. The company encourages people from all walks of life to apply and bases hiring decisions on qualifications, skills, merit, and business needs. It maintains a zero-tolerance approach to discrimination and harassment.
