Job description

Role overview

Join a fast-moving team that is helping drive ERP digitalisation across the DACH market. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for prospective SMB customers and a key contributor to building a healthy sales pipeline.

What you will do

  • Identify suitable target accounts in the DACH mid-market and build structured outbound approaches.
  • Reach out to decision-makers in finance, operations, IT, and leadership through phone calls, video calls, email, and LinkedIn.
  • Generate interest in ERP solutions by understanding the business challenges faced by small and medium-sized companies.
  • Qualify prospects against clear criteria such as BANT: budget, authority, need, and timing, then hand them over to account executives in an organised way.
  • Work closely with marketing and sales to improve campaigns and keep the pipeline growing consistently.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and improve your activity based on defined KPIs.

What makes you successful in this role

You do not need to bring everything on day one; motivation, willingness to learn, and strong drive are the most important factors. An interest in outbound sales, social selling, and proactive customer engagement will help you succeed.

  • Some experience in SaaS sales, SDR/BDR roles, or sales development, ideally in an ERP environment.
  • Familiarity with sales frameworks such as MEDDICC, BANT, or SPIN is an advantage.
  • Very strong communication skills in German (C1/C2) and English at least at B1 level.
  • A structured, target-oriented way of working and comfort with KPI-driven performance.
  • Persistence, ownership, and the ambition to develop further in sales.

Compensation and benefits

  • Competitive pay with a 75/25 split.
  • Additional benefits including VL, employee stock savings plans, shopping discounts, bike leasing, and free drinks in the offices.
  • Up to 10 weeks of workation per year through the Work Away programme.
  • 30 days of annual leave.
  • Up to 5 additional days of leave per year for charitable work through the Sage Foundation.
  • The chance to take on an exciting role in an innovative and growing company that values your ideas and capabilities.
  • A motivated team that supports collaboration and enjoys working together.
