Job description
About Adaptive
Adaptive is a cybersecurity startup focused on defending organizations against AI-driven cyber threats. In December 2025, the company closed an $81M Series B round led by NVIDIA and Bain Capital Ventures, with backing from Capital One Ventures, Citi Ventures, Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), the OpenAI Startup Fund, and Abstract Ventures. This was NVIDIA’s first investment in AI cybersecurity.
The company was started by Brian Long and Andrew Jones, two repeat founders with experience scaling high-growth businesses. They previously co-founded Attentive, which expanded to more than $500M in annual revenue and reached a valuation above $10B, and TapCommerce, which was later acquired by Twitter. Adaptive is building the security layer for the AI era with a team that knows how to scale product-led companies.
Used by major banks, technology firms, and healthcare organizations, Adaptive helps teams defend against threats such as deepfakes, smishing, and AI-generated voice fraud. With strong enterprise traction and a market opportunity of more than $200B, the company is still early in its journey.
