Job description
Role Overview
HubSpot is looking for a Business Development Representative to identify and engage strong-fit companies through focused prospecting. This position uses existing leads along with self-generated outreach across phone, email, and social channels to create interest in HubSpot’s solutions.
In conversations with potential customers, you will explore their business needs and challenges, assess whether HubSpot is a suitable match, and clearly present the product value when a lead is qualified. The objective is to spark interest in a more detailed discussion with an Account Executive.
You will work with 2 to 3 Account Executives and coordinate daily with them and other BDRs to develop effective methods for finding new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect at high volume to identify qualified new leads and potential customers.
- Partner closely with Account Executives to create and execute prospecting plans and outreach strategies.
- Arrange online product demos for qualified leads while consistently progressing toward monthly targets.
- Use sales qualification frameworks such as BANT to understand customer needs and pain points.
- Research the market to help expand HubSpot’s customer base.
Requirements
- A strong interest in building a career in tech sales.
- Previous experience in sales, prospecting, or a fast-growing scale-up environment is helpful but not essential.
- Fluency in both Italian and English.
- Clear goal focus and the drive to reach targets.
- Confidence in handling objections and openness to coaching.
- Strong organization and time-management abilities.
- Genuine interest in helping businesses grow and curiosity about the technology sector.
Perks and Benefits
- Flexible hybrid work arrangement designed to suit different working preferences.
- Supportive teammates and access to mentorship.
- Structured training and a one-month onboarding program to help you settle in.
- Defined growth path with regular promotion opportunities.
- Education support of up to €4,250 per year plus a free books program.
- Mental health coaching through the Modern Health app, along with health benefits such as life assurance, long-term illness cover, and fitness reimbursement of up to €250.
Pay and Compensation
The annual cash compensation range for this role is €45,000 to €61,000. This amount includes base pay, on-target commission for eligible roles, and annual bonus targets where applicable. Some roles may also be eligible for HubSpot’s equity plan, including restricted stock units. Final compensation is based on objective job-related criteria such as skills, experience, qualifications, and other relevant factors.
Work Location
This role is available remotely within Ireland or from a flexible office setup in Dublin.
