Role Overview

The Business Development Representative team plays an important role in creating interest in Jitterbit’s products across prospective customers. In this position, you will engage with new leads, offer practical guidance, and help solve business challenges through strong commercial judgment and a resourceful approach. This opportunity is best suited to someone who enjoys fast-paced growth environments, can build trust with prospects, and wants to help expand Jitterbit’s customer base by presenting the value of its automation platform.

You will work closely with sales and marketing to run targeted campaigns, book qualified meetings, and contribute to new pipeline creation. The role involves reaching out to brand-new prospects using leads and account data from Salesforce and other tools, tailoring messages to different contacts, building SQLs, and consistently meeting monthly SQL targets.

Responsibilities

  • Learn Jitterbit’s processes, tools, and internal workflows quickly, including the value proposition, BDR process, CRM, Salesloft, and any other systems needed to perform the role effectively.
  • Become fluent in how Jitterbit works so you can explain product updates and new features promptly, and communicate how the platform helps customers work faster, more efficiently, and with lower risk.
  • Research opportunities where Jitterbit can support a prospect’s goals and understand how the platform streamlines operations and improves business processes.
  • Create and run account-specific outreach sequences and call scripts together with the BDR manager and sales team.
  • Meet monthly performance targets, including SQL generation, pipeline contribution, and close collaboration with sales and marketing.
  • Carry out outbound activity through calls and tailored emails on a weekly basis to generate SQLs and drive revenue opportunities.
  • Record insights from prospect conversations, communicate updates with the BDR team, and highlight what is working, what is not, and emerging market patterns.
  • Support Jitterbit’s go-to-market approach by identifying relevant technologies and competitors and positioning the product effectively.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree is required.
  • 1 to 2 years of sales experience as a BDR in a SaaS environment, including cold-calling.
  • Advanced German language skills.
  • Advanced English language skills.
  • Strong interest in cloud products, technology, and SaaS.
  • A competitive mindset suited to fast-moving, high-growth environments.
  • A mindset focused on continuous improvement.
