About the Role
Chedid & Associates - Qatar, part of Chedid Capital, is hiring a Business Development Officer to support the expansion of its client base and contribute to business growth objectives. The organization operates across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia and is recognized among the leading reinsurance brokerage groups globally.
This position is suited to someone who can identify prospects, nurture client relationships, and help the company meet its commercial targets.
Responsibilities
- Identify potential customers and build productive relationships with them.
- Create and keep an up-to-date prospect database by market segment.
- Preserve strong working relationships with existing clients.
- Present suitable insurance options to prospective clients.
- Drive new business acquisition.
- Manage and support the company’s portfolio.
- Prepare reports on client performance.
- Work toward annual business budget targets.
- Maintain a robust and sufficient client database.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification is required.
- Minimum 2 years of sales experience in Qatar is needed; insurance sector knowledge will be an advantage.
- Strong command of English is essential, and Arabic ability is preferred.
