Role Overview
This position is for a Business Development Manager focused on SaaS growth. It is a full-time remote role with a job code of GT-BDM-001. The monthly pay range is ₹15,000 to ₹30,000, depending on the candidate’s skills and experience. The working schedule runs from Monday to Friday, with Saturdays and Sundays off.

Role Summary
In this role, you will be responsible for finding new business opportunities, developing trust-based client relationships, and contributing to revenue growth. You will work with prospective customers to understand their challenges, explain suitable solutions, and convert leads into long-term partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and create new business leads through outbound outreach, referrals, networking, email campaigns, and professional networking platforms.
- Speak with prospects to understand their business problems and suggest relevant software offerings.
- Run product demos, presentations, and discovery calls with potential customers.
- Develop and sustain strong relationships with both prospects and existing clients.
- Track leads through the sales funnel with timely follow-ups and lead nurturing.
- Draft proposals, discuss commercial terms, and support deal closure.
- Keep CRM records updated with lead status, opportunity details, and customer interactions.
- Study market trends, customer expectations, and competitor activity to refine business development efforts.
- Work alongside marketing and product teams on lead generation and acquisition activities.
Candidate Profile
- Experience of 0 to 3 years in business development, sales, telecalling, customer success, or a similar function is preferred; motivated freshers with strong communication skills may also apply.
- Strong command of spoken and written English is required.
- Ability to build rapport, understand client needs, and confidently explain solutions is important.
- Comfort with Google Workspace, Microsoft Excel, professional networking tools, and openness to learning CRM systems and AI tools.
- Good organisational ability and the capacity to manage several opportunities at once.
- Self-driven, target-focused, proactive, and eager to grow in the SaaS space.
Mandatory Work Setup
- A personal laptop or desktop is required.
- A dependable high-speed broadband or Wi-Fi connection is necessary.
- A quiet place to handle client calls and virtual meetings is essential.
- Full-time availability during business hours is expected.
Language Requirements
- Fluency in Malayalam and English, both spoken and written, is compulsory.
- Knowledge of Hindi and/or Tamil will be an added benefit.
- The role involves communicating with clients by phone, video call, email, and chat.
